something that just didn't pan out. created this wordmark from felt. used royal and yellow, my grade school colors. was gonna snap a wide picture of it and use it for the banner of this blog... i just couldn't get the effect i was looking for. oh well, on to the next banner idea soon. not 100% happy with the current "blue print" style banner

What did you use to trace onto the blue felt? I've had the worst luck tracing onto dark colors.
i actually used the same black sharpie, and cut it under a light. worked out ok. the silver sharpies bleed right thru though. if you REALLY need to see the lines, and the have to stand out, try deco paint markers! i just started using them for projects (no felt work yet), and they're pretty great!
